Akodo beach is one of the most visited beaches in Lagos; it is located
in Akodo village, Akodo
Beach also known as the Eko Tourist Resort. About 45 minutes drive from
Victoria Island, at km22 on the Lekki-Epe Expressway, the Eko Tourist Resort
has chalets and a large conference hall on 10 acres, with than a kilometre of
clean beach. Run by KIK & KEM Inv Ltd, its homely restaurant serves
Nigerian, continental & Asian food. Round-the-clock security includes a
Nigerian police post right inside the resort.
The resort, with a view to “providing guests and organizations with an affordable recreational place where they can think through ideas, review strategies, unwind, meditate and relax”, no doubt, offers premium comfort and relaxation. The resort is located within a large expanse of land and has the Atlantic Ocean bordering it thereby providing a serene beach with coconut grooves. It also maintains hours of uninterrupted power supply, adequate security and a large parking space.
As for accommodation, the resort offers well-furnished and self-contained chalets of various categories including a beach restaurant serving quality foods and drinks.
Its Leisure/Recreation Facilities includes an amusement park, clinic, private security and other sporting facilities such as snooker, boat riding, archery, beach football, table tennis, quad biking etc. Apart from the long stretch of beach off the coast of Atlantic, there is also a well-maintained swimming pool for the younger ones.
